Meeting notes

You talk, Elchi takes the notes.

Jot down what matters in a few words. When the meeting ends, Elchi writes the rest under those headings from what was said, and lists the to-dos on their own.

Sharing

Your notes, in one link.

After the meeting, send the notes as a link. Whoever opens it reads them without installing anything and, if you added them, plays and downloads the transcript and recording.

Privacy and details
  • With Duyu-small, your audio never leaves your computer.
  • While Duyu Pro is in use (the first 7 days and with Elchi Pro), recordings are transcribed on our server (voice.patientdesk.ai).
  • With smart formatting on, the transcribed text (not the audio) is tidied on our own server by an open model we host ourselves; it never reaches a third party and is not stored. You can turn it off in Settings.
  • Meeting notes (macOS, Duyu Pro): to write the notes, the meeting's transcript (not its audio) is sent to ScaleDown through OpenRouter. By default no audio is kept, and the transcript is deleted once the notes are written.
  • If you choose to share a meeting, its notes and the transcript or recording you pick are stored on our servers, and anyone with the link can see them. They are deleted when you stop sharing.
  • We recognise your computer by a one-way hash of its machine id. We never store your IP address, only a keyed hash of it, to limit abuse.
  • Reinstalling does not restart the trial.
  • Elchi is built on Handy, an open-source dictation app.
